Maintenance

When Who What
2011-11-30 14:09:51kevKev, 30/11/2011: This maintenance has now been completed

Apologies that the work took longer than expected, due to forced disk-checks on reboot.

We will be performing routine updates on our mail and web servers this evening starting at 18:00. Service will be interrupted for a few minutes whilst this is carried out.

This evening after 18:00 will be updating firmware on our Be ADSL LNS routers. This will result in some lines being logged out, but immediately reconnecting. We will publish a notice when this has been completed.

On Saturday 06/08 we will be updating firmware on our Be ADSL LNS routers. This will result in some lines being logged out, but immediately reconnecting. This may happen a few times as various updates are applied. We will publish a notice when this has been completed.

2011-07-21 14:56:09kevWe will be applying some updates to our primary mail and web servers on Friday 22/07 after 18:00, which will result in a few minutes outage of each as they are rebooted.
2011-07-14 07:42:45kevKev, 14/07/2011: This maintenance has now been completed

We will be doing some disk maintenance to our primary mail server this morning. No mail will be lost, but mail collection will be unavailable for a few minutes during this time.

2011-06-09 12:03:58kevFollowing yesterday's successful router changes, later this evening (not before 20:00) we will be testing router failover configurations. This should not affect service, but must be considered an 'at risk' period.
2011-06-08 18:51:02kevWe will be doing the first phase of the core router updates starting at 20:00 this evening
2011-06-07 10:48:06philWe are planning to replace some of our older routers with FB6000s to scale with ever increasing demand. Making this change will also enable us to provide IPv6. This work is likely to be carried out sometime later this week and there is a small but finite risk of an outage affecting core routing. We believe the risk to be minimal but as a precaution we plan to actually carry out the work after 20:00Hrs. We will post a notice on the day we plan to make the changes.

Note the When column indicates when the notice was posted, not when maintenance is planned
