21/Oct/2008ADSL2+
Having run successful trials over the last 3 months, we are pleased to announce that we now offer ADSL2+ as a standard service. The service is currently being rolled out by BT Wholesale; we will contact existing customers as the service becomes available in your area.
A frequently asked question is 'what speed can be expected?'. As with ADSL Max, this depends upon the distance you are from the exchange and the quality of your line. On ideal lines we expect to be able to provide up to 24Mb/s downlink and 1Mb/s uplink. Early next year there will be an option for even faster uplink, when BT implement "annexe M", offering uplink speeds in the region of 3Mb/s (at the expense of reduced downlink).
Please do contact sales@watchfront.co.uk if you would like more information.
